Getting Back Into Photography: Going Analog
I've been wanting to get back into photography, and I felt the best way to do that would be to try film photography again.
While heading home from work in the North Hills, I came across a camera store called North Hills Premier Imaging & Camera and decided to stop in.
I ended up picking up a 35mm film SLR, a Quantaray D2-RZ, paired with a Vivitar 28-70mm lens.
I decided to test it out with a roll of Fujifilm 400, walking around Pittsburgh from the North Side down to Station Square.
I took several photos, and honestly, I think they came out pretty OK! Considering I've never really used a fully manual camera, especially a film one, I'm pretty happy with the results.
It was a fun experience getting back into photography, slowing down and actually thinking about each shot rather than just taking pictures.
